Ken Eriksen and the University of South Florida softball team announced the addition of Zoey Lord to the 2026 signing class. Lord will join Calli Huff, Ariana Lara, Bria Villano, and the rest of the Bulls in the fall of 2026.

She is a hard-throwing right-hander from Newport, New Hampshire. Widely regarded as one of the most dynamic prospects in the 2026 class, Lord brings elite accolades, dominant pitching ability, and a competitive edge that has drawn national attention.
Lord enters the Bulls program as the No. 1 player in New Hampshire, according to MaxPreps, and is ranked the No. 10 overall prospect in the country by Legacy & Softball. She also earned recognition on the national stage as an Extra Inning Softball National Player of the Week, further cementing her status as one of the most decorated recruits in the Northeast.
Known for her explosive velocity and presence in the circle, Lord has built a reputation as a hard-throwing right-hander with exceptional command and a relentless drive to compete. Her steady rise across the national recruiting landscape signals a bright future at the collegiate level.

The South Florida softball program has been one of the most successful on campus, making 18 NCAA tournament appearances, including a trip to the Women's College World Series in 2012. Under head coach Ken Eriksen, who enters his 29th season in 2026 and has accumulated 1,161 wins, ranking seventh among active DI head softball coaches, USF has produced 10 NFCA All-Americans, two USA Softball Top 10 Players of the Year, and one NFCA Pitcher of the Year. In 2022, Georgina Corrick became the first player in softball history to earn the NCAA Pitching Triple Crown. She led the nation in ERA (0.51), Victories (37), and total strikeouts (418).
