Bulls Complete Florida Atlantic Sweep And Earn Seventh Straight Win, 74-62

Boca Raton, Fla. – Feb. 15, 2025 – Graduate guard Sammie Puisis (23 points) matched a career-best seven 3-pointers made in South Florida women's basketballs (18-8, 11-2 AAC), 74-62, win against Florida Atlantic (10-16, 2-11) in Baldwin Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Bulls have completed their third straight league opponent sweep, collected their seventh straight win, and are victors of 13 of their last 15 contests. Head Coach Jose Fernandez also recorded his 480th career victory.
 
Puisis's 23-point performance marked her sixth 20-plus point output of the season. Junior forward Carla Brito (16 points, nine rebounds), Senior forward L'or Mputu (15 points, nine rebounds), and redshirt senior forward Romi Levy (12 points, three rebounds, three assists), rounded out the Bulls who finished in double-figure points. Graduate guard Mama Dembele (seven assists, six points, four rebounds, and two steals) logged her 17th game of the season with five or more assists.

HOW THE GAME WAS DECIDED
In the final five minutes of action, the Bulls constructed a 16-7 run to secure their 18th win of the season. Levy logged five points and Mputu followed with four in USF's final run of the night.
