The Bulls (7-2) earned two victories this weekend in a Boca Raton tournament. The Bulls took down Florida Atlantic (1-5) on Friday and University of California Santa Barbara (5-2) on Saturday to extend their current win streak to four straight road wins. The Bulls are now 4-1 in away matches and 1-0 in neutral site matches.

The Bulls started their road weekend playing the FAU Owls in Boca Raton. The Bulls dropped doubles early but earned the lead quick in singles.
Stepan Mruzek finished Court 6 swiftly with a 7-5, 6-3 win, followed by a victory on Court 5 of 7-5, 6-4 by
Ben Hudson. The Owls battled back with a win on Court 2, which was answered by
Hugo Car with a 7-5, 7-6 (7-2) triumph on Court 1.
Agustin Cuellar solidified the win for the Bulls with a 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 victory on Court 3. The Owls took Court 3 to end the match with a Bulls win of 4-3.

The Bulls followed up the win with a match against the UCSB Gauchos on Saturday afternoon. The Bulls dropped doubles, but Car responded swiftly with a 6-3, 6-2 win on Court 1. The teams battled back and forth, losing Court 3 but earning a big win on Court 2 of 6-1, 7-5 by Cuellar. Mruzek added a win on Court 6 of 6-4, 6-3 and Hudson earned the deciding victory on Court 5 with a score of 7-5, 6-2. The Gauchos took Court 4 to finalize a 4-3 win for the Bulls.

After this past weekend, Cuellar is undefeated in singles with the highest win count of seven wins and no losses. Mruzek, also undefeated in singles, follows up closely with six wins and no losses. Car is on a five-game win streak on Court 1.

UP NEXT
The Bulls continue their road match streak with a pair of matches in Stockton, California this weekend. The Bulls face University of Pacific (2-4) for the first time in program history on Friday. The Bulls then follow up with a match against Oregon (6-2) for another historical first matchup in program history. The Bulls will wrap up their travel streak with a match against No. 1 TCU (8-1) in Texas. The Bulls are 0-8 against TCU in program history.
