USF Men’s Basketball Hosts In-State Foe FAU on ESPN2

Before Sunday’s game, Quincy Ademokoya, Jamille Reynolds, and Brandon Stroud will be honored for Senior Day

TAMPA, Fla, March 1, 2025 – The University of South Florida men's basketball team is back inside the friendly confines of the Yuengling Center for the final time of the regular season on Sunday. South Florida welcomes Florida Atlantic for an American Athletic Conference in-state showdown. The game between the Bulls (13-16, 6-10) and the Owls (15-13, 8-7) will air on ESPN2 at noon and can be listened to on Bulls Unlimited. USF will recognize its three seniors before the game. Sunday's game is presented by Tampa General Hospital.
 
Quincy Ademokoya, Jamille Reynolds, and Brandon Stroud will be recognized before tomorrow's game. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a slime green T-shirt giveaway at all four gates. The T-shirts are sponsored by Tampa General Hospital, and fans can receive a shirt while supplies last.
 
Setting The Stage:
South Florida looks to even the season series with Florida Atlantic. The Bulls want to improve on their 9-5 home record, while the Owls boast a 5-6 road record.
 
Series History:
South Florida and Florida Atlantic will face off for the 19th time on Sunday. The Bulls currently lead the series 15-3. In their last encounter earlier this season, the Owls won 94-72 in Boca Raton. South Florida is undefeated at home against Florida Atlantic, holding an 11-0 record.
 
Note-A-Bull:
Jamille Reynolds leads the team, averaging 13.2 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game, to go along with 41 blocks. His 6.12 defensive rebounds per game are tied for 43rd in the NCAA and second in the AAC.  His 41 blocks are tied for 52nd in the nation and tied for third in the conference. His 7.8 rebounds per game are tied for 82nd in the country and fourth in the league.
 
Additional Notes:
South Florida is 12th in the nation and is third in the conference with 15.34 fastbreak points per game. The Bulls are tied for 54th in the NCAA and second in the AAC with 8.1 steals per game. The Bulls are 34th in the NCAA and second in the AAC, averaging 28.07 bench points per game. The USF bench has only been outscored six times this season. South Florida is holding opponents to 19.10 bench points per game.
