BOCA RATON, May 11, 2025- The University of South Florida Bulls (27-22, 14-10 American) fell to the Florida Atlantic Owls (33-18, 13-11 American) on Sunday in the series finale in Boca Raton. The Bulls fell with a final score of 6-2.

South Florida currently sits in second place, tied with Charlotte, who is playing UAB. If Charlotte wins, the Bulls will fall to third in the conference standings. The Bulls have clinched a spot in the 2025 AAC Conference Tournament.

Bradke Lohry led the way offensively for the Bulls, going 3-for-3 with an RBI triple and a walk, while also stealing a base. He plated
Rafael Betancourt to ignite a two-run third inning that briefly tied the game at 2-2.
Anthony Quigley followed up with a run-scoring single, but the Bulls' bats were otherwise held in check by four FAU pitchers.

Landen Yorek struggled to find a rhythm, surrendering five earned runs over just 2.1 innings. A two-run homer from FAU's John Schroeder in the first set the tone, and three more runs in the third gave the Owls a lead they wouldn't relinquish. The bullpen trio of
Jorge DeCardenas,
Bryce Archie, and Yorek combined for 5.2 innings of two-run ball, with Archie delivering a scoreless final frame.
