Braun, Nedrow, Greico Earn All-Conference Honors

This is the Bulls’ fourth straight season landing at least one player on the All-Conference First Team.

IRVING, Texas, May 19, 2025—The University of South Florida baseball team is represented by LHP Corey Braun, RHP Jack Nedrow, and 1B Sebastian Greico on the 2025 American Athletic All-Conference Teams, the league office announced on Monday. Braun was named to the All-Conference First Team, while Nedrow and Greico earned a spot on the All-Conference Second Team.
 
Braun has earned 14 starts this season, serving as the Bulls' ace. In 89.2 innings, the southpaw has posted a 3.11 ERA, posted an 8-2 record, and has struck out a team-leading 90 batters. On March 28 against Tulane, Braun pitched his career-first complete game shutout, striking out six. Three weeks later, against Charlotte, the Seminole, Fla., native struck out a career high 11 batters. Braun has held his opponents to a .212 average at the plate.  
 
Nedrow has made 17 appearances on the mound, earning seven starts. In 64.2 innings, the Murfreesboro, Tenn., native has a 3.76 ERA, posted a 5-3 record with one save, and 40 strikeouts. He leads the conference with the fewest amount of walks allowed this season, with 10. Nedrow ranks 14th in the nation in walks allowed per nine innings with 1.39.
 
Greico has been a leader at the plate for the Bulls this season. In 47 games, the Tampa native has hit a team-leading 14 home runs, 12 doubles, and batted in 47 runs. He is tied for second in the conference in home runs. Earlier this season, Greico matched a program record of a four-game home run streak from February 23-March 1. On April 4 at Memphis, he went 4-for-6 with two home runs.

South Florida will start the 2025 American Athletic Conference Tournament presented by Regions next Tuesday, May 20, at BayCare Ballpark. The No. 3-seeded Bulls will have a rematch against the No. 6-seeded East Carolina 47 minutes after the conclusion of the 4 p.m. game. Hannahs at the Helm:
Mitch Hannahs was named South Florida's eighth head coach in program history on June 8, 2024, after compiling 355 wins over 11 seasons at Indiana State. The 2023 ABCA NCAA DI Midwest Region Coach of the Year guided the Sycamores to six conference titles and five NCAA Regionals, guiding ISU to a spot in the 2023 NCAA Super Regional. He takes over a USF team that went 26-29 last year and features 24 new players.
 
60th Year of USF Baseball:
The South Florida Baseball program played its first season in 1966 and will enter its 60th campaign in 2025. The Bulls have made 14 NCAA Tournament appearances and earned their first-ever Super Regional berth in 2021. USF has won 11 conference titles - five tournament titles (3 Sun Belt, 1 Metro, and 1 American) and six regular season championships (3 Sun Belt, 2 Metro, and 1 C-USA). Bulls baseball players have been recognized with All-America honors 12 times, and 19 Bulls have earned Freshman All-America accolades.
