TAMPA, Fla., August 24, 2025 – The University of South Florida (1-0-1) men's soccer team scored three second-half goals to secure a 4-1 victory over Lipscomb University (0-1-1).
This marked the Bulls' first win of the season, setting a positive tone for their upcoming matches.
The first half saw a flurry of activity as the Bulls engaged in a determined offensive push. The Bulls quickly equalized with a ripper of a goal by
Nicolas Pietrantonio in the 23rd minute from far outside the box.
Jahiem Wickham made a crucial save just before halftime, maintaining the 1-1 tie as the half concluded.
The second half began with the Bulls taking control, as
Fabio Bozesan's persistence paid off when his assist helped João Belmudes find the net in the 56th minute, giving the Bulls a 2-1 lead.
The Bulls continued to build momentum with Pietrantonio scoring in the 72nd minute, assisted by Richardson, further extending their lead. The persistent attack culminated with Bozesan scoring again in the 74th minute, this time assisted by
Dominic Wilson, to solidify the commanding 4-1 victory over the Bisons.
