MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., Sep. 12, 2025 – The University of South Florida volleyball team faced the No. 13 Minnesota Friday night inside Maturi Pavilion, with the Golden Gophers coming on top with a 3–0 win (13-25, 13-25, 19-25).

The Bulls (2-4) wrapped up their six-match streak of Power Four opponents with this match. The Bulls tallied 22 kills, five service aces and 31 digs.

USF's best run came in the third set, where the Bulls posted their highest side out rate of the night at 45% and matched Minnesota point-for-point deep into the frame before the Gophers closed it out. Freshman Laila Ivey provided an offensive spark with a .286 hitting percentage, and Iyanna Garvin and Ally Cavanaugh combined for key blocks as USF totaled 4.0 team blocks.

Notables

• Addy Brus and Arianna Beckham lead the team with five kills each.
• Brus and Raegan Richardson served two aces, while Samiha Foster served one.  
• Iyanna Garvin posted the lone block solo for the Bulls.
• Foster led the team with eight digs.
