Wickham records 50th career save in 2-1 victory at Tulsa.
TULSA, Okla., September 21, 2025 - South Florida (4-0-4, 2-0-0) secured a 2-1 victory over Tulsa (1-5-2, 0-2-0) at Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium, with the winning goal scored in the second half. The win preserves the Bulls' unbeaten record and marks the program's 600th all-time victory.
The first half opened swiftly with the Bulls taking an early lead as Fabio Bozesan scored in the second minute, assisted by João Belmudes. Jahiem Wickham delivered two key stops in rapid succession, the first marking his 50th career stop, holding Tulsa scoreless. The half came to a close at 1-1.
Coming out of the half, South Florida's defense stayed strong, with Wickham making a crucial save in the 72nd minute to protect the Bulls' lead. Nicolas Pietrantonio scored the game-winning goal in the 80th minute, assisted by Marcelo Mondragon. South Florida held firm to secure a 2-1 victory.

The program also has a strong reputation within the professional game and boasts 30 MLS draft picks. Notable alumni include two-time MLS Golden Boot winner Jeff Cunningham, USA 1994 World Cup star Roy Wegerle, and 2013 MLS Cup winner Dom Dwyer. Men's Soccer has three Alumni and a coach in the USF Athletics Hall of Fame: Fergus Hopper, Jeff Attinella, Jeff Cunningham & Dan Holcomb.
