USF VS. UCONN WOMEN’S BASKETBALL GAME RESCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 2 ON ESPN2

TAMPA, Fla., September 23, 2025  The University of South Florida women's basketball team has moved its home game against UConn to Tuesday, December 2 at the Yuengling Center, with a 5 p.m. ET tipoff on ESPN2.
 
The meeting between the Bulls and Huskies, the second in a home-and-home series, will be the 35th in series history. UConn owns 10 of the top 18 home women's basketball attendance marks at the Yuengling Center. The matchup will be the first between the Bulls and Huskies in Tampa since 2020. 
 
UConn captured its 12th national championship last season in Tampa, defeating South Carolina 82-59 to finish 37-3 and claim the No. 1 spot in the final AP Top 25 Poll.
 
USF enters the 2025-26 season after capturing its fourth American Conference championship (with a 23-11 overall record), winning the American Postseason Tournament, and making its 10th NCAA Tournament appearance under head coach Jose Fernandez

Fernandez, who enters his 26th season at the helm, led the Bulls to a No. 12 seed in the NCAA Tournament last year, marking the program's 14th consecutive 19-win season and 12th 20-win season under his leadership.
