TAMPA, Fla. (January 13, 2026) –
Jelena Bulajic knocked down a career-high five 3-pointers for the University of South Florida women's basketball team in a shooting display from behind the arc against UTSA on Tuesday. The Bulls (11-7, 4-1 American) defeated one of the top teams in the American Conference, the Roadrunners (8-7, 3-1 American), 70-53, inside the Yuengling Center.
The Bulls drained 10 3-pointers in the first half, which was two shy of tying the program record in a half. USF finished the night with a season-high 10 points. For the game, South Florida shot 47.6 percent from 3-point range, 45.8 percent from the field, and 75.0 percent from the free-throw line.
Bulajic recorded a career-high 15 points and made a career-high five 3-pointers. It was her third game in double figures. She collected two rebounds and two assists.
Stefanie Ingram tallied her 10th game in double digits with a 14-point effort. She recorded a game-high four steals to go along with four rebounds, three assists, and a career-high two blocked shots.
Edyn Battle rounded out the double-digit scorers with 13 points and went 3-for-4 from 3-point range. It was her ninth game in double figures. She dished out a team-high five assists. She added two steals and one rebound.
Carla Brito led the team with nine rebounds. She chipped in with five points.
How It Happened
The Roadrunners opened the game on an 11-3 run. The Bulls were unfazed and responded with a 16-2 run to close out the first quarter. Bulajic led USF with nine points on 3-of-3 shooting from 3-point range. USF shot 80.0 percent from long distance in the first half and led 19-13.
The Bulls opened the second quarter with five unanswered points, a jumper from Battle and another 3-pointer from Bulajic. South Florida could not miss in the second quarter as the team knocked down five more 3-pointers. In the second stanza, Battle accounted for 11 points, while Bulajic was a perfect 2-for-2 from 3-point range. The Bulls took a 49-24 lead into halftime.
UTSA outscored the USF 10-4 to start the third, but the Bulls still held a 54-34 lead.
Kirsten Lewis-Williams gave South Florida a spark off the bench as she scored six of the team's 10 points in the third. USF led 59-42 as the game went to the final quarter.
The Bulls were able to empty their bench in the fourth quarter, with every dressed player getting into the game.
Lana Vukcevic made her second appearance of the season and scored her first career point on a free throw.
Katie Davidson led all scorers in the fourth quarter with six points. The Bulls cruised to a 70-53 victory.
UTSA was led by Damara Robles, who recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Emilia Dannebauer was the only other Roadrunner in double digits with 13 points. Cheyenne Rowe collected 10 rebounds.
