TAMPA, Fla. (January 15, 2026) - South Florida head baseball coach
Mitch Hannahs announced the 2026 schedule on Thursday. The schedule features 55 regular-season games, including 33 contests at USF Baseball Stadium.
The Bulls open the 2026 season at home on February 13, hosting Illinois for a three-game series at USF Baseball Stadium. South Florida will continue its early-season homestand with a midweek series against North Dakota State on February 17 & 18, followed by a three-game series against Georgia Southern. The Bulls will close out February with the War on I-4 against UCF.
South Florida's nonconference schedule is highlighted by a strong slate of in-state opponents, including Stetson, FGCU, Miami, Florida State, Florida Atlantic, Bethune-Cookman, Jacksonville, and North Florida. South Florida will face Columbia in a four-game series on March 13-15. The Bulls will play their first 25 games in Florida and will not leave the Sunshine State until March 27, creating an early-season stretch heavy on regional competition.
American Athletic Conference play begins March 20–22, as the Bulls host Rice in their conference-opening series at USF Baseball Stadium. South Florida will also welcome conference opponents Memphis, UAB, and Wichita State to Tampa, while traveling to face Charlotte, UTSA, East Carolina, and Tulane during league play.
In addition to conference action, the Bulls' schedule includes several key nonconference road matchups against traditional in-state opponents, including Miami and Florida State, as well as midweek contests throughout the season.
South Florida will close the regular season at home, hosting Wichita State in a three-game series from May 14–16.
The 2026 American Athletic Conference Baseball Championship will be held May 20–24 at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Fla.
All home games at USF Baseball Stadium will be streamed on ESPN+. Dates, times, and television designations are subject to change.
