TAMPA, Fla., March 12, 2026 – Fresh off a perfect 4-0 weekend, the Bulls look to carry the momentum into the upcoming slate of matches. South Florida will travel to Conway, South Carolina this weekend, Mar.13-14 to compete in the Coastal Carolina Invitational. The two-day tournament features Morehead State, Tennessee Tech, Salem College and host Coastal Carolina.
Setting the Stage
South Florida will open play against Morehead State on Friday, March 13, before closing out the opening day against the host, Coastal Carolina. On day two, the Bulls will square off with Salem College and Tennessee Tech.
Opponents
Morehead State holds a 1-3 record, while host Coastal Carolina enters the tournament with a 4-8 record on the season, recently facing #15 Florida Atlantic, #4 Cal Poly, RV Tulane and Georgia State. Salem College is 5-3, meanwhile Tennessee Tech is 1-4 after recently competing against Berry College and LaGrange.
Match Format
Each dual features five pairs competing simultaneously. USF's Pair 1 faces the opponent's Pair 1, Pair 2 vs. Pair 2, and so on through Pair 5. Each pair plays a match, and the team that wins at least three of the five pair matchups earns the program win.

The University of South Florida Beach Volleyball program is the newest program in the now 21-team USF Athletics program. South Florida Beach Volleyball joined Conference USA on July 1, 2025. Pri Piantadosi-Lima was named South Florida's first-ever beach volleyball head coach on June 6, 2023. She also serves as the head coach of USAV Beach and the national team development program and was honored as the 2022 USA Volleyball Female Junior Coach of the Year. Before joining South Florida, Piantadosi-Lima helped launch the Eckerd College program in 2015 as an assistant coach and helped lead the program to its first AVCA national championship and two consecutive NCAA championship podium finishes.
