SPARTANBURG, S.C. (April 11, 2026) – The South Florida men's golf team will compete in its final regular season tournament at the Wofford Invitational, hosted by Wofford, on April 12-14 at the Country Club of Spartanburg. The tournament will be three rounds with 18 holes on each day.
The tournament consists of three rounds, with 18 holes played each day. Teams will begin the first and second rounds at 8:30 a.m. and the final round at 9 a.m. The Country Club of Spartanburg is a par-72, 6,434-yard course.

South Florida finished in fourth place out of eight teams at the Calusa Cup, shooting 7-under 857. The Bulls finished seven strokes ahead of No. 34 Louisville.
Previewing the Bulls
Wilhelm Ryding leads the Bulls with a 69.87 stroke average and ranks No. 45 in the NCAA Division men's individual rankings by Clippd. He leads the team with 12 rounds in the 60s and is tied for a team-high 19 rounds at par or better.
Ryding earned the American Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week award for the third time this season after finishing second among 40 golfers, shooting 8-under 208 at the Calusa Cup. The junior finished ahead of five top 50 golfers in the nation.
Jackson Spybey is second on the team with a 70.57 stroke average and is tied with Ryding for a team-high 19 rounds at par or better. He has nine rounds in the 60s this season, including a record-breaking final round at the Linger Longer Invitational with a 9-under 63 on March 22. Spybey placed 17
th (+1) at the Calusa Cup, recording two rounds at or under par.
Hugo Trommetter (72.11) shot a season-best 4-under 68 in the first round of the Calusa Cup, finishing tied for 11
th place. He has ten rounds at par or better this season.
Roman Solomon (72.80) has three rounds in the 60s and seven rounds at par or better this season.
Nino Palmquist has a 71.96 stroke average with eight rounds in the 60s and 13 rounds at par or better. He won the Saint Leo Invitational with a season-best 14-under par 202 on Feb. 16-17. Palmquist tied for 23
rd and closed strong with a final round at 3-under 69 at the Calusa Cup.
Matthew Joseph (73.00) has three rounds in the 60s this season and will compete as an individual.

There are 13 teams in the field, including No. 19 USC Aiken, Western Carolina, Francis Marion, Longwood, High Point, Mercer, Radford, Samford, Winthrop, USC Upstate, Wofford, and Providence.

About USF Men's Golf
The USF men's golf program has captured 19 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won six American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had six individual conference champions, including Jake Peacock in both 2024 and 2025. They went to nine straight NCAA Regional appearances from 2013-2022, including a 6th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015. USF is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 25 tournament wins under Bradley including three in the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
