South Florida Softball Announces Fall Ball Schedule

Fans can donate to the Alexis Buchman Foundation for Brain Cancer Research at all home fall ball games this season
TAMPA, Fla. (September 18, 2026) – Head Coach Ken Eriksen and the University of South Florida softball team announced the team's 2026 fall ball schedule on Friday. The Bulls will play six games at USF Softball Stadium.
Fans can donate to the Alexis Buchman Foundation for Brain Cancer Research at all home fall ball games this season.
All fall games will be scheduled for 10 innings. The Bulls open the fall season with a home game against the St. Leo Lions on Friday, Oct 16, at 6 p.m.
USF will play at UCF on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. Two days later, on Oct. 27, the Bulls will travel to Gainesville to face the Gators at 6 p.m. South Florida will host Florida SouthWestern State College at home on Oct. 30 at 12:30 p.m.
The Bulls play at home three times over seven days, from Sunday, Nov. 1, to Sunday, Nov. 8. South Florida hosts Bethune-Cookman on Nov. 1 (2 p.m.), the University of Tampa on Nov. 6 (6 p.m.), and Eckerd on Nov. 8 (2 p.m.).
The final home game of the season will be on Friday, November 13, at 6 p.m. against Polk State in The "33" Game. The Bulls will continue honoring the legacy of Alexis Buchman, who inspired the Tampa Bay community during her more than two-year battle with brain cancer. Fans can donate to the Alexis Buchman Foundation for Brain Cancer Research. South Florida will play Florida Southern at 6:30 p.m. More details about The "33" Game will be released later.

The South Florida softball program has been one of the most successful on campus, making 19 NCAA tournament appearances, including a trip to the Women's College World Series in 2012. Under head coach Ken Eriksen, who enters his 30th season in 2027 and has accumulated 1,214 wins, ranking seventh among active DI head softball coaches, USF has produced 10 NFCA All-Americans, two USA Softball Top 10 Players of the Year, one NFCA Pitcher of the Year, and one NFCA/Rawlings Gold Glove winner. In 2022, Georgina Corrick became the first player in softball history to earn the NCAA Pitching Triple Crown. She led the nation in ERA (0.51), Victories (37), and total strikeouts (418).
