• Qualified for but did not register a height at the BIG EAST Championships (2/20) in the pole vault
• Owned a height of 16-1.75 at the Minnesota Invitational (Jan. 23) to take fourth, the best of his indoor career
• Cleared 15-7 in the pole vault at the Akron Quad (Jan. 15)

2009
• Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team
• Earned team's Most Improved Male Athlete Award

Outdoor
• Finished 11th at the NCAA East Regional with a leap of 16-7.25 in the pole vault, the third-best mark in school history
• Finished sixth at the BIG EAST Championships in the decathlon with a score of 6,515
• Qualified for BIG EAST and NCAA competition in the pole vault and for BIG EAST competition in the decathlon
• Set the school record in the decathlon with 6,532 total points at the Bulldog Decathlon (April 10-11)
• Won the decathlon event crown at the FSU Relays with 6,338 total points
• Recorded a personal-best 123-0 in discus competition at LSU Alumni Gold (April 18)
• Chalked up a personal-record 42-11.75 in the shot put at the BIG EAST Championships (May 1-3)

• Cleared the bar at a personal-best 16-6.75 in the pole vault at the Florida Relays (April 3-4) to post his first-ever NCAA Regional qualifying mark

• Ran career-bests of 15.96 in the 110m hurdles, 5:16.91 in the 1,500m and 55.03 in the 400m dash at the Bulldog Decathlon (April 10-11)

2008
• Earned All-BIG EAST Academic Honors
Outdoor
• Qualified for the BIG EAST in both the javelin and pole vault
• Had a seasonal-best in the javelin of 183-7 at the UCLA Invitational (April 11-12)
• Recorded a season-high 15-1.75 in the pole vault at the LSU Invitational (April 19)

2007
• Won team award for the Most Improved Male Athlete at the first annual team awards banquet
Outdoor
• Qualified for the BIG EAST Championships (May 4-6) in four events: javelin , pole vault, high jump and decathlon
• Earned All-BIG EAST Conference honors in the javelin with a personal-best toss of 190-10 and in the pole vault with a 15-3 clearance
• Scored a personal-best in the decathlon of 6093 points at the FSU Relays (March 27-28)
• Moved into the number two spot all-time at USF in both the javelin and decathlon

2006
Outdoor
• Finished eighth at the BIG EAST Championships in the pole vault with a personal-best of 15-3
• Placed fourth at the FSU Relays in the decathlon

Largo High School
• Florida State Champion in the pole vault as a senior with a clearance of 15-0
• Three-time conference champion, four-time district champion and a two-time regional champion in the pole vault
• Four year letter winner in football, wrestling, track and basketball
• Earned all-district, regional and state honors in wrestling.
