Pitched 5 innings in BIG EAST games ... Allowed only one triple and zero home runs in BIG EAST games ... Pitched one inning and allowed zero runs against Marshall (3/7) ... Pitched three innings and allowed one run against UCF (3/10) ... Pitched one inning and allowed zero runs against West Virginia (4/25).

2008 Summer: Earned four wins and six saves in a total of 22 appearances for the Luray Wranglers of the Valley Baseball League  ...  Recorded a 4.18 ERA  ...  Pitched 23.2 innings where he struck out 28 batters and allowed only 11 earned runs ...  Along with Bulls and Wrangler teammate Chris Rey, helped lead the Luray Wranglers to a No. 3 ranking among all summer baseball leagues by PGCrosschecker.com  ...  Led the Wranglers to the Valley League Championship.

2008: Sat out season at USF due to NCAA transfer rules.

2007 Summer: Played for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs of the Florida Collegiate Summer league  ...  Appeared in five games in relief, finishing the season with a 1.17 ERA in 7.2 innings  ...  Pitched a perfect ninth inning against Altamonte Springs on July 7, to earn his first victory.

2007 (Louisville): Made 16 appearances for the Cardinals, posting a 4.50 ERA with two wins  ...  Struck out 20 opponents in 18 innings for UofL, which played in the 2007 College World Series.

2006 (Louisville): Coached by Lelo Prado and Lazer Collazo at Louisville  ...  Made 14 appearances as a true freshman, seven of which were in conference play  ...  Struck out three in 1.1 innings in Cardinal debut at Miami (2/15)  ...  Worked a scoreless inning, striking out one in shutout win over Northwestern (2/24)  ...  Twirled an inning and a third of scoreless ball at USF (4/14)  ...  Fanned two in an inning and a third of hitless ball in the battle of the bluegrass against Kentucky (4/19)  ...  Put down the side in order in win over Bearcats (4/29).

Summer: Played in the 2004 North/South all-star game and the Perfect Game National Tournament.

High School: Lettered three years at Westminster and one at Gulliver Prep  ...  All-Dade County and all-conference  ...  Was 6-2 with three saves as a junior with 66 strikeouts in 50 innings.
