Senior (2015): Made 16 appearances out of the bullpen…averaged nearly a strikeout per inning with 16 in 17.2 innings…held opponents to a .191 batting average…helped combine for three shutout wins.

2014 (Junior): Made a team high 31 appearances this year, all out of the bullpen…Posted a 1.93 ERA, the second lowest mark amongst relievers…Averaged nearly a strikeout per inning with 23 K’s in 28 innings pitched…Earned a team-high four saves vs. Northwestern (March 8), vs. UConn (March 21), at Cincinnati (March 28) and vs. Memphis (April 26)…Picked up a win vs. UConn on March 22 after tossing two scoreless innings as USF won 6-2.

2013 (Sophomore): Pitched 25.2 innings over 27 appearances in his sophomore campaign all in relief...struck out a career-high 3 batters in 2 innings pitched in the Bulls' win over Alcorn State...Earned his first career save in the Bulls 4-3 10-inning win over Notre Dame and closed things out against FGCU for save number 2.

2012 (Freshman): Appeared in seven games, collecting seven at-bats, during his freshman season at USF...Saw action in pinch-hit situations and played primarily in the outfield.

High School: An all-county player for Lake Brantley High School where he earned two varsity letters in both baseball and football...batted .300 in his junior season...improved his senior season, hitting .350 with one homer, seven doubles, and two triples... as a pitcher, went 3-1 with 1.99 ERA...named a pre-season Under Armour All-American in 2011…coached by Mike Smith...was high school teammates with current Bull sophomore Austin Lueck...member of the Orlando Scorpions AAU team...Made the honor roll.

Personal: Full name is Jordan Thomas Strittmatter...born March 11, 1993 in Indianapolis, Ind…son of Tom and Jill Strittmatter...has one brother, Hunter (17)...enjoys fishing, going to the beach, golfing and watching movies...majoring in marketing.
