USF COED

About Us
The University of South Florida Coed Cheer Team has firmly established itself as a national powerhouse in collegiate cheerleading, capturing five UCA College National Championships. The program’s legacy includes an impressive three-peat in the Division I-A Large Coed division in 2021, 2022, and 2023, followed by a historic Division I-A Coed Gameday National Championship in 2025. Continuing their dominance on the national stage, USF Coed added another title in 2026, earning the UCA Division I-A National Championship and further solidifying their place among the elite programs in the country.
Beyond their competitive success, each team member is a full-time student committed to excellence in the classroom and in competition, embodying the true definition of the student-athlete. Serving as ambassadors for USF Athletics, the team energizes fans and elevates the game-day experience at home football games in Raymond James Stadium, men’s basketball games at the Yuengling Center, and select women’s volleyball and lacrosse events. Looking ahead, USF Coed is excited to bring that same tradition, energy, and pride to the sidelines of the university’s new on-campus stadium beginning in Fall 2027.
Off the field, the team is deeply committed to community engagement, participating in hospital visits, charitable initiatives, youth clinics, and campus events. This dedication to service reflects their mission to represent the University of South Florida with integrity, spirit, and impact.
The program is led by Head Coach Ronnie Patrick and Assistant Coach Gillian Guadagnino, both widely respected for their accomplishments as elite athletes and experienced leaders. Together, they continue to elevate the standard of excellence for USF Coed Cheer—driving success, building culture, and developing the next generation of leaders.
