About Us
The University of South Florida Coed Cheer Team has established itself as a powerhouse in collegiate cheerleading, earning four UCA College National Championships. Their titles include an impressive three-peat in the Division I-A Large Coed division in 2021, 2022, and 2023, followed by their first victory in the Division I-A Coed Gameday division in 2025. Beyond their competitive success, every team member is a full-time student committed to achieving excellence both academically and athletically.
As ambassadors for USF Athletics, the team performs at home football games in Raymond James Stadium, men’s basketball games at the Yuengling Center, and select women’s volleyball and lacrosse events. In Fall 2027, they will bring their energy and pride to the sidelines of USF’s new on-campus stadium.
Off the field, USF Coed actively engages with the community through hospital visits, charity fundraisers, and various campus events, showcasing their dedication to service and school spirit. The team is led by coaches Ronnie Patrick and Gillian Guadagnino — both widely respected for their achievements as elite athletes and experienced coaches.
