HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Emil Castellanos at Westminster Christian School… Earned 3A-15 All-District honors as a senior pitcher who posted a 4-0 record, a 0.37 ERA and 21 strikeouts… As a junior, was named a 2019 First Team All-American and Class 5A-15 All-District as a utility player and 5A-15 Hitter of the Year after batting .556 with seven home runs and 38 RBIs… Went 4-1 on the mound as a sophomore and hit .410 as a freshman … Also attended Archbishop McCarthy High School (10^th grade) and Monsignor Edward Pace High School (11^th grade).

PERSONAL: Born May 4, 2001 in Van Nuys, Calif. … Son of Jacqueline Quintanilla and Albert Hernandez… Has a younger brother, Allen, and a younger sister, Samantha… Lived in California until moving to Florida at age 12 to pursue his baseball career… Played club ball for Banditos Scout Team out of Houston, Texas… Plans to major in health sciences… Also received a scholarship offer from the University of Miami… Hobbies include writing, hanging out with friends and meeting new people.
