Biography

Transferred to South Florida in spring 2023 from Coastal Carolina where he spent one season...joined the USF baseball team as a pitcher in February 2024 for the 2024 season in which he made 13 appearances.

2025 (USF Baseball): Made 15 appearances with three starts… Earned a 3-1 record on the mound… Pitched 44 1/3 innings with a 3.25 ERA… Struck out 36 batters while allowing 16 earned runs… Registered a .247 opponent batting average… Achieved three game finishes… Delivered a scoreless outing while securing a win versus a conference opponent… Contributed to a combined shutout…

2024 (USF FOOTBALL): Started the final eight games of the season after Byrum Brown went down with an injury, leading the Bulls to a 5-3 record in those games, including a win in the Hawai‘i Bowl...played in 12 games...led USF completing 172 of 290 passes (59.4%) for 1,914 yards, nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions...ran 68 times for 129 yards and two touchdowns and was sacked 21 times...completed 2 of 3 passes for 20 yards, including a 15-yard touchdown, in the season opener vs. B-CU (8/31)...completed one pass for nine yards against Alabama (9/7)...completed 6 of 12 passes for 37 yards and ran three times for five yards against Miami (9/21)…completed 4 of 10 passes for 41 yards at Tulane (9/28)...completed 22 of 41 passes for 234 yards in a 21-3 loss to Memphis (10/8) in the first start of his career...completed 17 of 31 passes for 201 yards, including a career-long 67-yarder against UAB (10/19)…completed 19 of 32 passes for two touchdowns and 206 yards at FAU (11/1)…completed 26 of 43 passes for 282 yards and a touchdown against Navy (11/9)…completed 11 of 16 passes for 126 yards at Charlotte (11/16)…completed 21 of 31 passes for a career-high 305 yards and two touchdowns and added seven runs for 45 yards and a touchdown against Tulsa (11/23)…completed 19 of 35 attempts for 227 yards and a touchdown and rushed 10 times for 35 yards at Rice (11/30)...led USF to a five-overtime victory over San Jose State in the Hawai‘i Bowl (12/24), including two-point conversion passes in the third overtime (to Payten Singletary) and fifth overtime (to Keshaun Singleton)...completed 24 of 35 passes (68.6%) for 235 yards and ran 11 times, but was sacked twice for a loss of 21 yards.

2024 (USF BASEBALL): Officially added to the baseball roster the week of Opening Day…made 13 appearances and three starts on the mound…went 0-2 with an 8.15 ERA (16 ER/17.2 IP) and 18 strikeouts…made his collegiate baseball debut with a scoreless inning and one strikeout vs. Marist (2/25)…made three straight Sunday starts vs. UNC Greensboro (3/17), Memphis (3/24) and at Charlotte (3/30)…logged season highs in strikeouts (4) and IP (4.0) vs. Memphis...pulled double-duty in the early spring between spring football practices and the baseball season...practiced with the football team on March 29 in Tampa before joining the baseball team for his start in Charlotte on March 30.

2023 (USF FOOTBALL): Saw action in seven games as backup QB...finished season having gone seven of 15 passing for 53 yards and zero interceptions...vs. FAU (10/14), saw extended action and completed four of seven passes for 44 yards...vs. Syracuse in the Boca Raton Bowl (12/21), completed two of four passes for 11 yards, rushing the ball three times for 13 yards.

2022 (COASTAL CAROLINA): Saw action in two games…completed one pass for nine yards…ran three times for 18 yards, with an 11-yard long.
