2024 (INDIANA STATE): Appeared in four games and made one start for the Sycamores...Indiana State went 44-15 (22-5 MVC), won the Missouri Valley Conference regular season championship and reached its second straight NCAA Regional...went 1-for-5 with one RBI.

PERSONAL: Born on February 1...son of Cami Scott and Jason Murphy...nicknamed "Murf"...has two brothers, Jack Readinger and Dylan Murphy, and sister, Addie Murphy...his uncle, Casey Degroote, was drafted in the 11th round of the 1998 MLB Draft by the New York Yankees out of West Vigo High School...enjoys playing golf and pickelball in his free time...studying communications at USF...also had offers from Purdue, Indiana, Ball State and Toledo out of high school.
