2022: Made 17 appearances on the mound…went 1-0 with a 9.33 ERA…earned the win vs. Boston College (3/9)…logged nine scoreless outings.

2021: Made 13 appearances on the mound in his first season at USF, including one start...posted a 4.76 ERA and struck out 16 batters over 11.1 IP...logged season bests in IP (3.0) and strikeouts (6) vs. South Alabama in the NCAA Gainesville Regional (6/6)...did not allow an earned run over his final three appearances of the year (4.1 IP).

PRIOR TO USF: Started his collegiate career at with Santa Fe College in 2018 and was selected to the NJCAA National All-Star Team after going 6-3 as a freshman with a 2.84 ERA and 89 strikeouts in 76 innings...transferred to Florida for the 2019 season...returned to Santa Fe College in 2020 (teammates with Brad Lord)...posted a 1.98 ERA, a 3-1 record and 49 strikeouts through 36.1 innings (eight appearances) during the shortened 2020 campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL: Threw a no-hitter at Niceville High School...named the Pitcher of the Year...earned the Anti-Mitchell Academic Award.

PERSONAL: Born March 31, 1999 in Houston, Texas…son of Natasha and Craig Hemenway…has one sister named Katelynn…majoring in communications...also played football and soccer growing up...enjoys fishing and any outdoor activities...favorite MLB team is the Houston Astros and favorite player is Rich Hill...stands by the claim that “sitting in the same spot in the dugout does in fact work for good luck”...wants to get into real estate after college...can bowl a perfect game on Wii at will.
