American Conference All-Freshman Team

2026: Pontbriant was one of the most impressive freshmen on the pitching staff, being recognized on the American Conference All-Freshman team. He went 4-0 with a 3.61 ERA in 19 appearances — the second-most on the team. The Connecticut lefty made seven starts and worked 47.1 innings, striking out 29 batters while posting the second-best ERA among starters. He was the only pitcher on the staff to finish the year with a perfect win-loss record and led the team in winning percentage (1.000). Pontbriant allowed just four home runs across his outings and held opposing batters to a .276 average. His four saves were third on the team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lyman Memorial HS (Lebanon, Connecticut)…posted a 10–0 record with one save over 63 innings, a 0.44 ERA, 0.73 WHIP, 124 strikeouts, 19 walks, five runs, and four earned runs…named 2024 Connecticut All-State and 2024 ECC Player of the Year.
