2023 (USF): Played in 14 games and made five starts in his lone season at USF…tallied three hits, one double and two RBI.

2022 (UCF): Played in 47 games (23 starts)...batted .228 with six doubles, three homers, 22 runs scored and 11 RBI...went 4-for-5 in stolen base attempts...had a three-RBI game vs. Memphis (4/10).

2021 (UCF): Started in 54 games as a mainstay in the outfield...batted .264 with 10 doubles, three triples, three homers, 30 runs scored and 32 RBI...went 9-for-13 in stolen base attempts...had two triples in a game vs. Jacksonville (3/21).

2020 (UCF): Played in 14 games (13 starts) as a true freshman...batted .275 with three homers, seven RBI and two stolen bases during the COVID-shortened season...three home runs tied for the team lead...had a season-high four hits against No. 8 Auburn (2/23), including his first collegiate home run...had a multi-homer vs. Jacksonville (3/3).

HIGH SCHOOL: Named the Palm Beach County Player of the Year and Sun Sentinel Player of the Year in 2019...led Palm Beach County in batting average, doubles, stolen bases, and tied for the lead in runs scored...batted .563 (36-for-64) as a senior with a .670 OBP and 1.016 slugging (12 doubles, four triples and three homers).

PERSONAL: Born on December 29 in Cuba...son of Pablo Ruiz and Zulerqui Carache...has a sister, Lianys...boxing is his favorite hobby.
