Biography

2023 (USF): Played in 31 games and made nine starts in his lone season at USF…recorded six hits, one double, two RBI, 10 runs scored, seven walks and one stolen base.

2022 (STONY BROOK): Played in all 52 games (50 starts)...batted .254 with three doubles, three triples, seven homers, 34 runs scored and 32 RBI...tallied a .363 OBP with 28 walks...went 14-for-18 in stolen base attempts...ranked fifth on the team in total bases (78)...went 4-for-10 with a homer, two stolen bases and two RBI in a three-game series at USF on Feb. 25-27.

2021 (STONY BROOK): Played in 36 games (34 starts) after missing some time with an injury...batted .274 with six doubles, a triple, four homers, 22 runs scored and 21 RBI...went 13-for-13 in stolen base attempts...closed season hitting .306 (26-for-85) after returning from 11-game injury absence...homered in his first at-bat in 22 days after returning from injury vs. UMBC on April 17.

2020 (STONY BROOK): Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll...batted .222 with one homer in 13 games in the COVID-shortened campaign...committed zero errors at shortstop...delivered decisive, go-ahead two-run single in sixth inning in 3-2 win vs. Central Connecticut State in home opener on March 6...made collegiate debut at shortstop in second game of doubleheader at Texas State on Feb. 15...slugged first collegiate homer, tie-breaking two-run shot, in seventh inning of series finale at Texas State on Feb. 16...Atlantic Baseball Confederation summer-league all-star in native New Jersey.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years in both baseball and basketball at New Providence...earned All-Conference honors in 2018 and 2019 on the diamond, as well as All-Group accolades in 2018...two-time State Section Champion...finished junior season with a .451 average and 27 RBI...named to National Honor Society and National Language Honor Society...helped basketball team to first state championship since 1999.

PERSONAL: Born July 17 in Summit, N.J....son of Tina and Brian...has two sisters, Gabriella and Emma...mother, Tina, played tennis at James Madison (1986-89)...father, Brian, pitched at North Carolina (1983-86)...sister, Gabriella, was a pole vaulter at Tulane (2016-19)...enjoys fishing and playing basketball in his free time...plans to study economics at USF.
