Biography

Committed to South Florida on May 10, 2022 for his final season of eligibility. Played three seasons at Memphis, including the 2022 NCAA Tournament team, and one at Iowa State (2020-21), while accumulating 1,133 career points.

2022-23 (USF): Named to the AAC All-Conference Third Team…named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll five times throughout the season…started all 32 games in his lone season at USF…led the Bulls in scoring (16.9 ppg) and assists (3.3)…totaled 107 assists…also led the team with 30 steals…ranked seventh in the AAC in scoring, three-point shooting (39%) and free throw percentage (83%)…set a new USF single-season record for three-pointers made (97)…set a new AAC record for career three-pointers (290)…finished his collegiate career with 329 total triples…shot 40% from the field (174-440)…scored a career-high 33 points vs. UCF (1/21/23)…scored at least 30 points three times…scored at least 20 points 10 times…scored in double digits 26 times…dished out a career-high 11 assists while scoring 10 points at Tulsa (2/15/23) for his first career double-double…knocked down at least five three-pointers 11 times…drained six triples four times…hit a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer at Northern Iowa (12/12/22)…pulled down a season-best seven rebounds at SMU (1/29/23).

2021-22 (MEMPHIS): One of only three Tigers to play in all 33 games, including both contests during the NCAA Tournament…made three starts on the year and averaged 18.9 mins/game…logged career highs in field goal percentage (40.4%) and three-point shooting (39.3%)…went 55-140 from beyond the arc, tying for the team lead in three-point baskets made…averaged 8.9 points, 1.7 assists and 1.2 rebounds per game…totaled 15 steals…averaged 10.9 points/game over 18 AAC tilts…scored in double-digits 15 times, including 13 points against Gonzaga in the NCAA Tournament (3/19/22)…poured in 20 points on two occasions with a season-high 24 at Tulsa (1/23/22) on 8-13 shooting (6-10 from downtown)…season-high seven assists, four rebounds and two steals…logged a season-high 35 minutes at UCF (1/12/22).

2020-21 (IOWA STATE): One of two Cyclones to play in all 24 games (11 starts)…averaged 7.5 points per game and was second on the team with 39 three-pointers made…recorded double figures seven times while playing 22.9 minutes per game…season-high 22 points against Baylor, connecting on 5-8 triples and 8-12 field goals…season-high four steals vs. Oklahoma State.

2019-20 (MEMPHIS): Appeared in each of Memphis' 31 games and averaged 20.6 mins/game…averaged 8.7 points…his 59 3-pointers led the team and ranked fifth for treys made by a sophomore in school history…scored a season-high 19 points, including a season-best five 3-pointers, in a March 5 home win against Wichita State…scored in double figures 16 times…59 3-pointers ranked seventh in the American Athletic Conference…shot 36.4% from beyond the arc and 85.1% from the free throw line…was the team's top free-throw shooter.

2018-19 (MEMPHIS): Named to the American Athletic Conference All-Freshman Team after a solid debut season… played in all 36 games (15 starts) and averaged 25.5 mins/game…averaged 10.8 points (third on the team) and 1.9 assists…scored in double figures 19 times and led the team in 3-pointers made…established a school record for 3-pointers made by a freshman with 79…that total ranks fifth-most in a single season in Memphis history…seven made 3-pointers in a Nov. 25 game against Charleston in the AdvoCare Invitational in Orlando tied a freshman record…had five 20-point games in the first nine games of career, including a high of 25 vs. Charleston (11/25/18)…was named AAC Freshman of the Week on two occasions during the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was the all-time leading scorer in Cordova High School history (2,647)…his point total ranks 12th all-time in the state of Tennessee…is one of only 12 players in Memphis high school basketball history to score more than 2,500 career points…was named the recipient of the 2018 Class AAA Mr. Basketball Award and was a finalist for the award in 2017…led the city in scoring with a 30.3 points-per-game average and averaged 6.1 assists per game…was a first-team all-state pick by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association and a finalist for The Commercial Appeal's Player of the Year…led Cordova to a 23-8 record during the 2017-18 season and a trip to the state sectionals…was the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year in 2017 and an all-state selection in 2016, 2017 and 2018…also was a 2018 McDonald's All-American nominee…became the first Memphis-area high school player to average more than 30 points a game in a single season since Sheffield's Randy Culpepper in 2005-06…a four-star recruit, was ranked among the top-150 players in the country as a senior at Cordova…chose Memphis over Baylor.

PERSONAL: Born on October 16...son of Peggy and Frank...has on brother, Jeremy...his uncle, Tony Harris, played basketball at the University of Tennessee and went on to play professionally overseas for seven years...has done volunteer work for the Boys and Girls Club in both Memphis and Tampa...enjoys playing video games in his free time.
