2026: Allen transitioned from prep ball directly into a starting and relief role for South Florida as a freshman, making 13 appearances, including four starts. He finished 0-2 with a 4.01 ERA in 24.2 innings, striking out 17 and holding opponents to a .258 batting average. Allen walked nine and allowed only two home runs over his outings.
