Ashley Leko serves as the Senior Associate Athletic Director and Chief Financial Officer for Business Operations at USF, a role she has held since July 2021. In this position, she oversees the Athletic Business Office, Travel, and Information Technology departments, manages budgets, leads financial reporting and forecasting, and directs risk management initiatives.
Leko has a long history of service at USF, beginning as an Athletic Business Office Intern in 2006. She progressed through roles including Assistant to the CFO (2007–2008), Fiscal & Business Assistant (2008–2009), Senior Accountant (2009–2010), Athletic Business Office Manager (2010–2013), Assistant AD for Business Operations (2013–2020), and Interim Chief Financial Officer (2020–2021). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sport Business and her Master of Business Administration from Saint Leo University.
Originally from Brooksville, Florida, Leko is married to Chris Leko and has a daughter, Megan. She has been recognized professionally as CABMA Business Manager of the Year in 2024, a CABMA Emerging Leader in 2019, and currently serves on the CABMA Executive Board through 2027.
