Morgan Gross was named an assistant coach in fall 2019 after spending a year as a graduate assistant with the program. Gross graduated from USF in May 2018, after competing for four years with USF softball.

As a catcher with USF from 2015-18, Gross played in 90 games making 67 starts. In her junior season, she started in 53 games while posting a career-high .209 batting average with 11 RBIs.

Gross graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications while also receiving a business certificate from USF. In August 2019, she graduated again from USF, this time with a masters degree in Marketing from the Muma College of Business.
