• Ran 5:24.20 in the 1,500 meters at the USF Open (3/5), then upped it slightly to 5:24.00 at the Bulls Invitational (3/19)
Cross Country
• Ran a season-best 21:17.60 in the 5k at the Early Bird Classic (Sept. 4)
• Posted a 25:25.00 in the 6k at the Paul Short Invitational (Oct. 2)
• Also ran at the Mountain Dew and the Hatter Invites

Riverview High School
• Earned four varsity letters in track and field and three in cross country
• Two-time regional qualifier in the 800
• Member of the school-record holding 4x400 relay team
• District champion in the 4x400 and 4x800 in 2005 and '07
• State qualifier in the 4x800 in 2005
• Named the Most Improved Runner in cross country in 2004
• Tabbed the Most Valuable Runner in track in 2005 and the Most Valuable Distance Runner in 2007
• Member of the state championship team in '04 and the state qualifying team in '05
• Varsity team captain in 2006
• Earned the Scholar Athlete Award from 2003-07
• U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete Award recipient  

Personal
• Born Nov. 17, 1988
• Daughter of James and Kimberly Anderson
• Father, James, competed in track and field at Tennessee
• Has two older sisters, including former USF cross country runner Kristin Anderson
• Enjoys hiking, biking, running, outdoor activities, and going to the beach
• Majoring in psychology with a specialty in animal behaviors
• Working towards a minor in environmental science and policy
