• Threw 181-7 in the javelin at the BIG EAST Championships (5/1)
• Competed in the javelin at the LSU Alumni Gold meet (4/17)
• Threw 182-1 at the Sea Ray Relays (4/10)
• Had a mark of 188-5 at the FSU Relays (3/26)
• Posted a distance of 189-5 at the Bulls Invitational (3/19)
• Threw 190-7 in his first meet with the Bulls at the USF Open (3/5) to immediately land at No. 4 on the all-time list

Before USF
• Transferred from Reedley Community College in Reedley, Calif.
• Finished as the NorCal champion in the javelin in 2008 as a freshman
• A NorCal finalist as a sophomore in 2009
• Valley Conference Champion and state finalist both seasons
• Holds the school record in the javelin with a throw of 204-5
• Two-time Track Athlete of the Year for Reedley 

Colts Neck High School
• Was a two-time district champion and a two-time conference champion
• A two-time All-Shore performer and an All-Shore champion once in the javelin as well
• Played quarterback for his high school team and held the team's punting duties
• Two-year team captain on the football team
• A three-year starter at both quarterback and punter
• Earned All-Area honors at both positions
• Also earned All-Conference and All-Shore honors as a punter
