Outdoor

• Had a season-best triple jump of 47-11.25 (14.61m) at the USF Invitational (3/12)
• Had a season-best long jump of 21-8 (6.60m) at the USF Invitational (3/12) 

Indoor

• Had a 21-6.25 (6.56m) long jump at the American Indoor Championships (2/27)
• Had a season-best of 48-10 in the triple jump at the Hoosier Hills Invite (2/13) which was the fourth-best in school history.
• Had a 47-10.00 (14.58m) triple jump at the American Indoor Championships (2/27)

PRIOR TO USF VISTA MURRIETA HIGH SCHOOL
Competed the past two seasons at Cal State Fullerton... Had top jumps of 5-8.75 in the high jump, 23-2.50 in the long jump and 49-11.75 in the triple jump which placed him third at the Big West Conference Championships... Attended Vista Murrieta High School and ran track for two seasons 2010 and 2011 and was on the football team in 2011... Recorded a personal best 46'9" in the triple jump his senior year... Was a scholar athlete on the football team his senior year.

PERSONAL
Born in Poway, Calif.... Son of Walter and Fay Whitaker... Has a sister named Ayana who plays volleyball at Loyola Marymount... Currently majoring in business finance and accounting... Ultimate goal is to some day compete in the Olympics....Regina King (from the Cosby Show, Big Bang Theory, and several other movies and TV shows) is a cousin.
