South Florida Men’s Track and Field Competes at the NCAA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. (June 9, 2026) – The South Florida men's track and field team will compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on June 10 and 12 at Hayward Field.
The meet will be streamed live on ESPN and ESPN2 on Wednesday and ESPN2 on Friday.
The semifinals for each event are on Wednesday, with the top eight finishers advancing to Friday's finals for a chance to win an NCAA title.
The South Florida men finished 14th at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships, its highest finish in program history.
Jaleel Croal – 200m
The 2025 Second Team All-American in the 200m will compete in the event for the third straight season. Croal ranks fifth in the nation in the 200m with a season-best time of 20.05, which earned him a silver medal at the American Conference Outdoor Championships.
Croal finished ninth in the 200m quarterfinals with a time of 20.41 at the NCAA East First Rounds.
He will run in the 200m semifinals on Wednesday, June 10 at 10:29 p.m. ET.
4x100m Relay
South Florida will compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 4x100m relay for the fourth consecutive season after finishing third at the NCAA East First Rounds with a season-best time of 38.45. Shomari Pettigrew, Croal, Alexavier Monfries, Nathan Metelus, Cayden Broadnax, Kahiem Carby, and Blake Williams will travel to Eugene for the meet.
USF won its third straight American Conference title with a time of 38.93. South Florida finished fourth in the 4x100m relay with a time of 38.73 at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
The Bulls will compete in the 4x100m relay semifinals on Wednesday, June 10 at 8:05 p.m. ET.
4x400m Relay
South Florida finished 10th in the 4x400m relay at the NCAA East First Rounds with a season-best time of 3:02.71 after being the last team to qualify for the meet. Devontie Archer, Markel Jones, Metelus, Monfries, Joshua Crum, Kelsey Singleton, and Elisha Williams will travel for USF. The Bulls will compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 4x400m relay for the third consecutive season.
USF is the defending NCAA champion in the event, posting a school-record time of 3:00.42. Archer and Monfries were members of the championship relay team.
South Florida will race in the 4x400m relay semifinals on Wednesday, June 10 at 11:36 p.m. ET.
