Hanna Vernetti has been a part of the University of South Florida Event Management team since August of 2019. She was hired as the Assistant Director of Events in October 2021. Vernetti is the Game Administrator for Baseball and Men’s Soccer, while being the secondary event lead for Women’s Basketball and Football. Vernetti also manages the Internship Program within the Event Management department, overseeing approximately 30 interns per semester.
Vernetti began with the USF Athletic Department in 2019 as an Event Management intern. She was responsible for assisting with the coordination, operation, and evaluation of all Olympic sporting events. Before joining the Event Management team, Vernetti worked as the Stadium Operations/Event Management intern with the Tampa Bay Rays. She was responsible for assisting with special events, as well as coordinating events for outsourced staff groups.
Originally from Navarre, FL, Vernetti moved to Tampa in 2016 upon being accepted into the University of Tampa. Vernetti graduated from UT in December of 2019 with a Bachelor in Sport Management. During Vernetti’s collegiate years, she was a member of the NCAA D2 Rowing team. Following the completion of her undergraduate studies, Vernetti was accepted into the FAU Master of Business Administration, Sport Management, program. Vernetti graduated from the FAU MBA Sport program in August of 2022.
