Brianne Smith joined USF's staff as the Director of Operations in May 2013 as a familiar face to head coach Courtney Draper and her staff. Smith spent four years playing under Draper as a setter at Eckerd College, ranking third in all-time assists at the school with 2,357 and helping to lead the Tritons to an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in 2011 before graduating in 2012.

Smith assisted at Eckerd for one season after graduation, and was also involved with the event management staff. Her duties with USF will include the organization of team camps, community outreach projects and day-to-day operations of the volleyball office, under Draper and her staff.

In her first season with the Bulls, Smith successfully coordinated 12 different trips, and helped host 16 different teams visiting Tampa ... Smith also took a leading role in coordinating USF's two tournaments, assisted with four youth clinics and set up Volleyball Alumni Day ... Smith is also in charge of a large portion of the Bulls' annual golf tournament/fundraiser.
