Vorderer joined the USF Volleyball program in August of 2019 as the Volunteer Assistant Coach. He comes to USF following seven seasons as the Ultimate Volleyball Club Coach of the 15-2 boys team, who competed in the BJNC in Phoenix, Ariz.Â
He was also the associate head coach for the boys beach volleyball program. While at the Ultimate Volleyball Club, Vorderer was part of the Lindenwood Game Day Management team from Aug. 2015 - 2018, working gameday operations for all NCAA sports.Â
Vorderer spent the last year living in England completing his master's degree and playing volleyball for the University of Essex and Tendring Volleyball Club. The university team was able to win the National Championship, as he played a prominent role starting every game at outside hitter. Tendring Volleyball earned a promotion to England's Super League which is the top division for club teams in England. Vorderer also assisted with the Tendring women's team this season as they won the Super League Championship Title for the first time in club history. His responsibilities consisted of executing scouting reports, running drills, and preparing the girls for upcoming opponents, under Head Coach Mark Plotyczer.
Vorderer completed his undergraduate studies and played volleyball at Lindenwood University, which is a member of the MIVA Conference. He was a four-year starter at libero from 2015-18 and was able to earn All-MIVA honors. He led the MIVA and was third in the nation in digs per set in 2018. Vorderer also set the program record for digs at Lindenwood.
He earned his masters from Essex in June of 2019, with a focus on MSC Marketing Management.Â
