Chris Elliott joined the USF staff in August 2025 and serves as the Assistant Director of Athletic Training for the University of South Florida men’s basketball team. He is a certified and licensed athletic trainer who brings NCAA Division I, elite academy, and professional sports experience to the Bulls.
Before joining USF, Elliott worked at Grand Canyon University with men’s basketball and men’s golf, at IMG Academy with post-graduate and varsity boys’ basketball, and at Stephen F. Austin State University as the Head Athletic Trainer for men’s basketball and women’s bowling. He also completed a preseason internship with the Tennessee Titans.
He is a former two-sport NCAA Division II student-athlete at Trevecca Nazarene University. Elliott holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a master’s in athletic training. He is certified in Corrective Exercise, Dry Needling, and Graston Technique, and remains an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
