Kainan Justiniano enters his first season at the University of South Florida as the men’s basketball team’s assistant director of operations. He was hired in April 2025.
Justiniano previously served under head coach Bryan Hodgson’s team at Arkansas State as the director of operations during their 2024-25 campaign. He joined the Red Wolves from LSU, where he served as a graduate assistant.
Prior to his time at LSU, Justiniano spent three years at Combine Academy in Lincolnton, North Carolina, as director of basketball operations and assistant coach. Additionally, during seven summers with The Hoop Group, Justiniano managed operations and facilities, helping run tournaments, showcases, and camps for thousands of young athletes.
A native of New Jersey, Justiniano earned a bachelor’s degree in sport science from the United States Sports Academy in 2021.
