Victor Zamudio joined South Florida Beach Volleyball as a Volunteer in July 2025.
Zamudio brings a wealth of experience, as he has worked with athletes at every level—from youth beginners to AVP and FIVB professionals.
Prior to USF, Zamudio served as an assistant coach for Saint Leo University’s Beach and Indoor Volleyball Programs (2021). He was also the assistant and eventual head coach at Optimum Beach Volleyball Club from 2020 to 2024.
Zamudio also coached varsity boys’ and girls’ teams at Chaminade Madonna College Preparatory School (2017-2020) and has led numerous private training sessions and clinics nationwide.
As a player, Zamudio was a libero for the USA Youth National Team and a member of the U23 Men’s Beach National Team. He earned Hawaii 1st Team All-State and Fab 15 honors and competed at the University of Mount Olive before a medical retirement. He also represented the U.S. in Fistball World Championships and qualified for the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships.
