The USF Softball Field has been the home of the Bulls ever since the sport began at USF. Originally built for recreational use in 1963, the four-field complex was one of the first facilities built on the campus of USF, which opened up in 1956. The USF Softball Field became an athletics only facility in 1990 after being shared with the recreation department.

The only home that the Bulls have known, the field has been a key ingredient in the tremendous success of the softball program at USF. Since fatspitch softball started in 1985, the Bulls have compiled an astounding record of 582-250-1 (.699) on their home turf. This home-field advantage has helped the softball team to become one of the most successful athletic programs in USF history, as it has recorded 22 winning seasons in 24 years.

The USF Softball Field has a seating capacity of 400 and its dimensions are 190-220-190.

Directions:

From I-75
Get off at the Fowler Avenue exit and head west. Turn right on 50th Street (there will be a Perkins on the corner). Make the first left turn at Elm. Then make your first right at Sycamore Drive. The USF Softball Field will be on your left side.

From I-275
Get off at the Fowler Avenue exit and head east. The University is about three miles from 275. Go past the main entrance and then make a left at the next light (this will be 50th Street; there will be a Perkins on the corner). Make the first left turn at Elm. Then make your first right at Sycamore Drive. The USF Softball Field will be on your left side.

Parking
Parking is available on either side of Sycamore Drive.

Disabled parking is available on Red Bud off Sycamore Drive behind the USF Softball Complex.

Entrance to the USF Softball Field is on Sycamore Drive, north of the recycling center.
