TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Antonio Webb scored nine of his 30 points in overtime to lead Bethune-Cookman past USF 75-68 Wednesday.
Webb and Michael Williams II each scored five points during a 14-3 run that tied the score at 59 with 37 seconds to go. Turnovers foiled two bids by USF (6-6) to win in regulation.
In overtime, Webb took charge to lift the Wildcats (4-6) to their first victory in 13 games in the series.
Solomon Jones gave USF its biggest lead at 56-45. He contributed 15 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots before fouling out with 2:31 left in the second half.
James Holmes paced the Bulls with 22 points. Teammates McHugh Mattis and Chris Capko each had 10.
Sam Barber scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Bethune-Cookman. Williams had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Webb hit four of his five three-pointers in a first half that included seven lead changes and six ties. USF led 32-29 at halftime.
Bethune-Cookman was not awarded a free throw until Barber hit a pair three minutes into the second half. The Wildcats finished with 17 points from the line, including 10 in the extra session.
