Catch 47 'Tampa Bay Sports Television' To Carry USF WoMen's Basketball

Tampa, FL (December 5, 2005) ? The University of South Florida women's basketball team will have a record six games televised on Brighthouse Networks' Catch 47 “Tampa Bay Sports Television” during the 2005-06 season. The cable station, which is the official cable partner of USF Athletics, will produce four games on a tape delayed basis and carry two live.

Catch 47 will begin its coverage with USF's Dec. 7 inaugural BIG EAST Conference game with No. 14/17 DePaul. It will also produce games against Providence (Jan. 21), Pittsburgh (Feb. 11), and West Virginia (Feb. 25).

In addition, Catch 47 will televise the entire BIG EAST Conference Game of the Week package live on Sunday afternoon's. This will also include the Bulls two games as part of the package at Pittsburgh on Jan. 8 and at St. John's on Feb. 5. Both games begin at 2 p.m.

In all this season, the Bulls will be seen a total of eight times on television. Along with the six games on Catch 47, USF's game at Connecticut on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. will be televised live on Connecticut Public Television. The Bulls will also make their first national TV appearance on College Sports Television when they face Louisville on Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

USF will return home for their inaugural BIG EAST Conference game on Wed. Dec. 7 when they face No. 14/17 DePaul at 7 p.m. in the Sun Dome.
