Battle Selected to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. (March 24, 2026) – Edyn Battle was selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
 
Battle boasts a 3.83 GPA while pursuing her master's degree in Physical Education. She also graduated with a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, posting a 3.58 GPA.
 
Battle was named to the American Third Team All-Conference and All-Newcomer Team this season.
 
Battle ranked sixth in the American with 15.0 points per game and ranked fifth with 4.5 assists per game during conference play. She was one of three American Conference players this season, averaging at least 15.0 points and 4.0 assists per game in conference play.
 
During conference play, Battle ranked second in free-throw percentage (.872) and seventh in field-goal percentage (.424).
 
Battle ranked fifth in the conference in overall assist-to-turnover ratio (1.6). She recorded 22 double-digit scoring games and three games with 20 or more points.
 
The Gahanna, Ohio product dished out a career-high 10 assists against Wichita State. She scored a season-high 23 points against LIU on Nov. 7. Battle earned the American Conference Player of the Week on Nov. 10 and earned American Honorable Mention twice.
