TAMPA, Fla. (January 15, 2006) ? The University of South Florida men's tennis team faced a familiar C-USA foe in the University of Memphis, Sunday afternoon at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts.

The Bulls started the contest off strong by taking both doubles matches played. At the No. 1 position the team of Dirk Britzen and Federico Barton easily handled the Tigers duo of Michael Jetter and Garrison Pilant, 8-0. Marc Jaeger and Dillon Brozyna soon followed with their 8-6 victory over Matt Brewer and Bryan Bakester, at the No 2 position.

In singles action, USF took 3-of-4 matches from Memphis, earning victories at the No. 1, 3 and 4 positions.

Britzen and Brozyna continued their impressive play over the Spring Classic remaining undefeated by defeating Michael Jetter, 6-3, 6-1 and Garrison Pilant 6-0, 6-0, respectively.

The Bulls return to action Monday morning at 10 a.m. when they face the Clemson Tigers.
