Well, I know it has been a while since I have posted a blog. I want to apologize, I had some technical difficulties LOL!! I am truly sorry that I have had everyone waiting. We have been doing pretty good so far this season. We just recently had Georgetown and St. John's at home and we won both of those games. The St. John's game was a doubleheader with the men's team we had a nice crowd as well as the men who played Notre Dame later on that night and won. It was a great win for the men and also a very exciting game. How bout them Colts!! Go Colts. We had a super-bowl party at Coach Fernandez's house I only came for the food. I'm actually not a colts fan LOL!! But congratulations to the Colts and Tony Dungy. He deserves it. Well I'm about to go to sleep until next time. GOD Bless and take care!!

Hello!! Hope everyone is having a great new year so far. I've had a blessed start to my new year. The season has been going well, although we've had our ups and downs but that to be expected. We will be OK though. I guess I have been punished because for the last two road trips I've had freshman Stephanie Sarosi as my roommate. Oh man will someone help me please LOL!! I'm just joking. Stephanie is a good kid and she's learning everyday. So I talk to her and encourage her, you know, show her the ropes LOL!!  I'm sure you all know we had rough loss up at Rutgers, but there's nothing for us to do but put that game behind us, stay together as a team and focus on Saturday's game against Notre Dame. I think we will be fine. Someone told me this quote after the Rugers game. “A champion is one who can get up and finish after being KO'D.”  Well, its time for me to go to practice. Take care and GOD Bless!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR Everyone!! Wow another year is here I can't believe it. I just want to thank GOD for allowing me to see another year. It's truly a blessing. Before the 2006 year ended we played in Philadelphia at the St.Joe's Hawk classic. Our first game we played Vermont and came out with a win advancing to the championship game against St. Joes. The game against SJU was a nail-bitter. We went into overtime in was a very intense game. Everybody was on the edge of their seats for that game, our bench was amazing keeping us going with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. We were able to pull the game out in overtime. I enjoyed going to Philly because I have a lot of family that live in the area. We had our own little cheering section and I was so happy that my mom was able to make the trip. She is my support system. I love you MOM!! It's a new year now and its time for us to focus on BIG EAST play. Its time for me to go. I hope everyone has a blessed New Year. Take care and God Bless!!

Hello everyone hope all is well with you. I want to apoligize for not having a new and updated blog. I have been really busy with school and finals, and we finally wrapped up the semester WOW!! It went by really fast. Only one more semester to go and I'm done. I will then be an alumn of USF. Pretty scary, huh. LOL!! The season has been going well we are now 8-2. We lost a tough one Sunday to Vanderbilt, but the show must go on. We play Jacksonville on Wednesday and right after the game we get to go on our Christmas break which I am really looking foward to and having the chance to see my family and friends. I'm very excited. After we come back for Christmas break we will be flying back up to Philadelphia for the Saint Joseph's Tournament. I can't wait to go back. I have a lot of family that live up there so it should be fun. My mom will be making the trip so I'm extra excited!! I'm definately going to enjoy my Christmas break. I hope evryone has a Merry Christmas and be safe. Until next time GOD BLESS and take care.

Hello! Hope everyone enjoyed their week so far. It has been a pretty good week for me. I can't believe that the semester is almost over! Wow, time really flies. I only have one more semester until I graduate. I still remember it just like it was yesterday when I came in as a quiet freshman and now look at me, I'm a senior and it's almost over. On a happier note, I know everyone is busy getting ready for Christmas and doing a lot of shopping. Christmas is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. You get to spend time with family and loved ones, and receive gifts ? that's the best part! LOL! I have not decided what I want to get Coach Fernandez yet. I was thinking on the lines of the power wheels hummer. That's definitely a good fit for him LOL! Coach, you said you wanted a hummer didn't you? HAHA! Last night we played FIU. We won so we are now 7-0 and off to a good start. We play Michigan State on Sunday in our first road game of the year. We just need to keep the intensity up and play our game and we will be fine. WARNING! Do not play Coach Jaida Williams in Monopoly. She CHEATS! I repeat, she CHEATS! She counts her money twice so I warn you do not play her LOL! Well, its time for me to go I have to get some work done. You know I am a student-athlete. GOD BLESS and take care.

Hi everyone. I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving. I sure did although I didn't get a chance to go home. Tristen Webb invited Jessica Jackson, Coach Jaida Williams and myself over to share thanksgiving with her family. We had a blast and the food was excellent, so I had a great thanksgiving. I would just like to say that I am thankful for family and friends and God allowing me to live another year to celebrate thanksgiving with the one's I love. Well now its back to business on the basketball court. We had a pretty good win over Stetson and I finally broke the scoring record. Honestly I'm glad its over. It's just like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I'm definitely proud to have accomplished such a feat but my ultimate goal is winning a Big East championship and returning to the NCAA tournament. This weekend we have host the Best Western Roundball Classic, so that should be exciting. I hope we have a great crowd. Today (Friday) at practice coach Fernandez was sitting on the table and one of my teammates said "aww how cute, his feet are dangling." LOL! Hey coach it wasn't me who said that. Well its time for me to say goodbye. God Bless and GO BULLS!

Well the season has started. Can't you just smell basketball in the air? This is definitely my favorite time of the year. Our first game was against UW-Milwakee last Friday. We did get the win so that was nice. We play again in our own Image Depot Shootout Saturday and Sunday. We play Texas Southern Saturday and Sunday we play Georgia Southern, so it has begun for us. On Wednesday coach Jaida Williams and I went to Pizzo elementary school here on campus for the Great American Teach In. It was a great experience and we had a blast. Coach Williams was great with the kids. I told her she should have been a teacher because she was great with the kids. She has a great personality and is an overall great person. We really enjoyed spending time with the children. Well it s time for me to go. We need to stay focused for Texas Southern and Georgia Southern this weekend. Take care and GOD Bless!

Hello everyone hope you all have had a blessed week so far. I know I have. Everyone is pumped up for our first game on Friday against Wisconsin-Milwaukee. It's finally here, yeahhhh! See how excited I am, LOL! Practice has been going pretty well. Coach Fernandez keeps stressing for everyone to stay focused for Friday's game. Last Friday we really got a treat. We had the opportunity to go to Orlando to watch the 76ers play the Orlando Magic compliments of Melissa Dalembert's brother Samuel who plays for the 76ers. It was a wonderful experience and actually that was my first NBA game in person. After the game we had the opportunity to meet some players. We took pictures with Chris Webber, and folks we were literally two feet from Allen Iverson! It doesn't get any better than that. It was definitely an enjoyable experience. Well it's time for me to depart. I have to go find Coach Fernandez a suit for the game at Baby Gap. Oh, you guys didn't know that's where he shops ? LOL? Just joking, you know I love you Coach Fernandez. Until next week, God Bless and take care.

Hello everyone, how have you been? I hope great since my last blog. I have been wonderful, busy it's been a busy wonderful. I had a pretty hectic week last week. I made my first appearance on the Bay News 9 Toyota Sports Connection with Chris O'Connell, and let me tell you I really enjoyed doing that interview. Chris gave me a mini tour around the news station it was very interesting and fascinating to see what goes on behind the scenes. I had a great time. But then it was no rest for the weary as I only had one day before Nalini Miller, Coach Fernandez and myself were to depart to New York for the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Media Day in New York City. We certainly had great time in the Big Apple at ESPN Zone in Times Square. On our first day in New York, I might have made it on TRL (Total Request Live) which is a show that airs on MTV. I was waving and jumping up and down pretty hard to get the camera man's attention. Who could resist such a charming person as me (LOL)! Media Day was great. We had the chance to interact with the coaches and players from around the BIG EAST as well as with the media. I'm quite sure everyone knows I was voted as the BIG EAST Preseason Player of the Year. I'm honored to have been chosen, but it's not a big deal to me. I want to see this team successful. Overall it was a great experience and if you have never been to New York it's a great place to visit. Well until next time take care and God Bless!

Well, we have been practicing for five days now and practice has been going very good. The freshmen have adjusted pretty well.  The first day of practice was nerve wrecking for them but they got through it. This has been a very busy week for me with classes but I'm making it through. This Thursday I have to go to the inaugural Athletic Director's dinner and guess who's one of the hostesses? Yes, yours truly. Can you imagine that? It should be fun.  Men's soccer player Rodrigo Hidalgo is the other host so we should have a great time.

Yesterday I played women's basketball director of operations Andy Christensen and assistant coach Jaida Williams in a game of PIG. Of course I beat them both, shamelessly I might add (LOL)! But I was really stunned when coach Williams beat Andy. Hey you can't win them all, Andy “CHARMIN” Christensen. We refer to Andy as “Charmin” because he just like the toilet paper - SOFT (LOL)! I've still got love for you Andy. Well it's about that time for me to go give coach Fernandez a headache. God Bless and take care.

Well today was the last day of conditioning.  YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!  Tomorrow we start practice at 7 p.m.  It should be interesting to see how it's all going to come together with everything we have been doing in workouts. I can't believe this is my last year.  It went by terribly fast, but I have definitely had some great times here at USF. I'm kind of upset and disappointed that we are not having Midnight Madness.  I was looking forward to it, but know we have to get ready for practice and concentrate on the season. Well I got to go.  Andy (Christensen) is calling me to come beat him in a game of PIG.  Talk to u later.  Bye!!!
