TAMPA ? The No. 18 University of South Florida men's soccer team will head out to Maryland to meet the No. 8 Terrapins for the third time in school history in their final exhibition game of season. The game will be played on Friday, Aug. 22, at 7:30 p.m.

Both USF and Maryland had appearances in the Sweet 16 in 2007. The Bulls are currently 0-2-0 against Maryland, with their last meeting in 2000, where the Bulls fell 3-0. The Terrapins are currently 0-0-1 in preseason, with a tie against the Virginia Commonwealth Rams.

The Bulls are 0-0-2 in preseason this year posting ties with the University of Tampa (0-0) and the U-17 Venezuelan National Team (1-1) . Sophomore Luke Magill has scored the lone goal for the Bulls in preseason.

USF begins the regular season on Aug. 30 when the Bulls host Bowling Green at 7:30 p.m.
