TAMPA, Fla., December 18, 2025 – The University of South Florida men's soccer goalkeeper
Jahiem Wickham was selected by Charlotte FC in the third round (82nd overall) of the MLS SuperDraft, announced this afternoon.
Wickham becomes the latest Bull to earn the opportunity to continue his career at the professional level, further strengthening USF's presence in Major League Soccer.
Wickham earned American Conference Co-Goalkeeper of the Year honors following his standout 2025 campaign. He was also named to Second Team All-Conference.
Twice, Wickham collected American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week awards during the season, and received one honorable mention for the weekly awards, recognizing his consistency and impact between the posts.
Wickham put together an impressive 2025 season for the Bulls, appearing in 17 matches and logging 1,530 minutes in goal. He recorded nine wins, five draws, and three shutouts, while allowing just 25 goals for a 1.47 goals-against average. Wickham also totaled 61 saves and posted a .709 save percentage, anchoring a defense that consistently limited opposing opportunities.
Across the season, Wickham faced 208 shots and provided steady leadership from the back, playing a key role in USF's success between the posts. His selection marks another milestone for the Bulls' program and highlights USF's continued commitment to developing student-athletes prepared for the next level.

USF Men's Soccer competed in the school's first-ever intercollegiate athletic contest on Sept. 25, 1965, beating Florida Southern 4-3. Since then, the oldest program on campus has built a winning tradition, claiming 14 conference championships and making 22 NCAA Tournament appearances, including three trips to the Elite Eight.
The program also has a strong reputation within the professional game and boasts 30 MLS draft picks.
