TAMPA, Fla., April 13, 2026 – University of South Florida men's soccer Associate Head Coach Armanté Marshall has been inducted into the Lincoln High School Athletic Hall of Fame this past Saturday, April 12, in Tallahassee.

Marshall, a 2005 Lincoln graduate, remains one of the most accomplished athletes in the Trojans' history. He left Lincoln as the program's all-time leader in points, amassing 80 goals and 66 assists for 226 career points.

A three-time team captain, Marshall was named team MVP in his junior and senior seasons and earned Big Bend Player of the Year honors and Admiral All-Tournament recognition his senior year.

His impact at Lincoln extended beyond the soccer field. Marshall was also a member of Lincoln's nationally ranked track and field team, earning two-time Outdoor Track and Field All-American honors in 2004 and 2005 as part of the Trojans' National Championship 4x100 relay team.

Following his prep career, Marshall went on to play collegiately at Stetson and USF, where he started 31 out of 41 games for the Bulls from 2007-09, helping lead the 2007 team to the NCAA Sweet 16 and playing a pivotal role on the 2008 BIG EAST Championship team that advanced to the Elite Eight.

Now in his fourth season on the USF staff and first as associate head coach, Marshall has become one of the more respected names in collegiate soccer.

New Bulls head coach George Kiefer, who also coached Marshall during his playing days, called Marshall's retention on staff "critical," noting that "he understands what this program represents, and he's lived it as both a player and a coach."

Saturday's induction was a full-circle moment for a Tallahassee native whose journey from Lincoln's pitch to the collegiate coaching ranks has spanned two decades.
